About the role

  • Schedule for this role is 8A-8:30p or 7:30a-8p (3 shifts per week; 12 hour shifts) with every other weekend rotation.
  • Job Summary The Case Manager is responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care, including individual, group, and family counseling.

  • Maintain a full patient caseload.
  • Adhere to company code of ethics and maintain professional boundaries with patients at all times.

Requirements

  • Generally, placement within the upper portion of the range is reserved for candidates with several years of directly related experience or exceptional expertise.
  • Knowledge of ASAM criteria.
  • Ability to read, write and interpret written information, type documentation, present information to groups and participate in meetings.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft and Google.
  • Participate in required clinical supervision, training, and staff meetings.
  • Maintain upkeep of personal professional licensing, certification, and CEU's as required by state boards without lapse, holds, suspensions, or investigation.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Sciences (e.g. social work, counseling or psychology) preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a behavioral healthcare field strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with substance abuse, addictions, mental health, cognitive behavior treatment and motivational interviewing.
  • Knowledge of utilizing electronic health record software and documentation.
  • Must be able to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and flexible hours.
  • Valid driver license and insurable driving record (If driving a company vehicle or if driving personal vehicle for company business; refer to Guidelines for Driving Company Vehicles).

Nice to have

  • State recognized (CADC) alcohol and drug counseling certification (or intern SUD counselor certification) preferred and/or working towards.
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Sciences (e.g. social work, counseling or psychology) preferred.

Compensation

  • In accordance with the Massachusetts Pay Transparency Act, the reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position $26.00-$30.00 per hour.
  • Actual compensation within this range will depend on the candidate's skills, experience, education, and relevant qualifications.
