Responsibilities

  • OIT is seeking an Employee Development & Engagement Coordinator to provide direct administrative and operational support to executives, managers, or organizational leadership teams.
  • This role offers excellent exposure to all aspects of human resources and is well suited for someone looking to build a career in HR while making a meaningful impact on the employee experience.

Requirements

  • The successful candidate must be a city of Philadelphia resident within six months of hire

Nice to have

  • 1-2 years of experience in human resources, administrative, or customer service experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree program at an accredited college or university in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or any closely related field preferred

Skills

  • Knowledge of HR practices and disciplines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Access
  • Skills in database management, query, and reporting
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized
  • Customer service orientation with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels
  • Ability to exercise sound and independent judgment

Compensation

  • $50,000 - $60,000
  • Starting salary to be determined based on experience and qualifications.
