About the role
- We're seeking an experienced Project Controls Scheduler to join our team supporting large-scale construction and modernization projects for educational facilities.
- In this role, you'll be the go-to scheduling expert, ensuring projects stay on track, milestones are met, and stakeholders remain informed.
- Your work will directly contribute to delivering safe, high-quality educational facilities for our students and communities.
Responsibilities
- To offer and deliver the "best in class" project management, construction management and project controls services that allow our clients to build with confidence!
- You'll work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and program leadership to develop, analyze, and maintain project schedules from start to finish.
- Create and manage detailed program and project schedules, identifying relationships, logic, milestones, and constraints for various construction projects.
- Conduct schedule impact studies for change orders and support negotiation of delay time settlements.
- Serve as a liaison between project teams, department leadership, and the Program & Project Controls department; lead schedule-related discussions in meetings.
- Maintain program-level coding standards, prepare schedule performance reports, and update master schedules on a regular basis.
- Develop & Maintain Schedules: Create and manage detailed program and project schedules, identifying relationships, logic, milestones, and constraints for various construction projects.
- Time Impact & Delay Analysis: Conduct schedule impact studies for change orders and support negotiation of delay time settlements.

- Data & Reporting: Maintain program-level coding standards, prepare schedule performance reports, and update master schedules on a regular basis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
Skills
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 (latest version) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of cost engineering, scheduling best practices, and schedule forensics.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
- OR Bachelor's degree in another discipline plus 2 additional years of construction scheduling experience.
