About the role
- As a Machine Operator - Utility at Atlas Tube, Kansas City, MO, this role is responsible for setting up and operating high-speed equipment with robotic elements to form or cut steel to specified dimensions and specifications.
- This position plays a key role in maintaining safe, efficient, and high-quality production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, technically skilled, and committed to safety and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced equipment setup and calibration to meet production requirements
- Maintain equipment tooling and tools necessary for job completion
- Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain clean and safe work areas
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
- Ability to read and write English and maintain production records and logs

- Perform constant movement requiring manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
Requirements
- Experience using measuring devices such as tape measures, micrometers, and calipers
- Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, and other equipment required for the role
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently
- Lift, climb, bend, stoop, push, and pull as required

- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
- Manufacturing or industrial experience, preferred
