- This role supports the development of software- and hardware-integrated solutions for orthopedic procedures, with a strong emphasis on system-level architecture, performance, and reliability.
- Define, design, and support system-level architecture for surgical navigation, and visualization platforms
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and clinical teams to ensure integration of optical navigation technologies and surgical systems
- Support development and optimization of real-time surgical visualization and augmented reality capabilities
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in systems engineering, software engineering, or complex product development
- Experience integrating software with physical hardware systems (e.g., cameras, tracking systems)
- Strong understanding of optical navigation systems and real-time visualization technologies
- Experience with SDLC, version control systems (e.g., Git), and Agile development methodologies
- Experience with 3D visualization, real-time systems, or game engine-based applications
- Experience with surgical navigation platforms
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, web services, and REST APIs
- Experience with system risk management and design control processes
Nice to have
- Experience with software development using C# and Unity preferred
