Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations accurately and efficiently for all patient populations
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and exam rooms in optimal working condition
  • Utilize electronic systems, including Meditech, to verify orders and document procedures
  • Manage imaging workflow through PACS, including image storage and CD creation
  • Cross-train and maintain competency in sonography practices as needed

Nice to have

  • Minimum of one (1) year of ultrasound experience preferred
  • new graduates may be considered
  • Current CPR certification. required

Compensation

  • Commensurate with experience
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations accurately and efficiently for all patient populations
  • Ensure proper patient positioning and selection of appropriate transducers for each procedure
  • Capture and submit high-quality diagnostic images to the Radiologist for interpretation
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and exam rooms in optimal working condition
  • Utilize electronic systems, including Meditech, to verify orders and document procedures

Benefits

  • Education: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program meeting ARRT or equivalent standards
  • Registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) - preferred
