Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations accurately and efficiently for all patient populations
- Maintain ultrasound equipment and exam rooms in optimal working condition
- Utilize electronic systems, including Meditech, to verify orders and document procedures
- Manage imaging workflow through PACS, including image storage and CD creation
- Cross-train and maintain competency in sonography practices as needed
Nice to have
- Minimum of one (1) year of ultrasound experience preferred
- new graduates may be considered
- Current CPR certification. required

Compensation
- Commensurate with experience
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations accurately and efficiently for all patient populations
- Ensure proper patient positioning and selection of appropriate transducers for each procedure
- Capture and submit high-quality diagnostic images to the Radiologist for interpretation
- Maintain ultrasound equipment and exam rooms in optimal working condition
- Utilize electronic systems, including Meditech, to verify orders and document procedures
Benefits
- Education: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program meeting ARRT or equivalent standards
- Registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) - preferred
