About the role
- Responsible for meeting client deliverable due dates
- Interacts with internal fund accounting staff on an as-needed basis to provide tax accounting guidance
- A solid understanding of the accounting & tax treatments applicable to a wide variety of publicly & privately traded domestic & foreign financial instruments including equities, debt, forwards, futures, options, swaps & derivatives

- In this role, you will collaborate across accounting and tax functions, contribute to innovative tax allocation solutions, and play a key part in delivering high-quality client service while advancing your technical expertise.

Requirements
- 2-5 years of tax experience in partnerships, hedge funds and financial services
- Experience with tax adjustments related to investments and partnership capital transactions.
- Team Player, attentive to detail and proven ability to multi-task
- An above-average proficiency in the use of MS Excel as well as a working knowledge of the entire MS Office product suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and proven ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of client service
- At least 2 years of recent partnership tax accounting experience, preferably in the area of investment partnerships
Nice to have
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting - CPA/MBA a plus
- Knowledge of foreign reporting requirements a plus
