Responsibilities

  • You will also partner, influence, build credibility, and define processes with internal and external stakeholder groups such as Legal, Corporate Purchasing, Audit, Government of Saskatchewan ministries and crown corporations, and the IT Solutions Association of Saskatchewan to advance the organization's IT vendor management capabilities in alignment with provincial and industry best practices.
  • Manages the collection, consolidation, and communication of reporting and data on vendor contracts, performance, risk, and relationships to key stakeholders and vendors.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to enable, support, and operationalize business vendor performance management accountabilities.
  • Establishes and maintains frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures for technology vendor management in alignment with corporate vendor management practices.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains strategy, governance, and the operating model for technology vendor management including functional roles and responsibilities.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to define accountabilities and drive adoption of corporate vendor management frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Develops vendor selection criteria, best practices, standards, and procedures in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Develops and maintains contract negotiation, development, and management best practices, standards, and procedures in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Establishes formal vendor expectations, outcomes, and SLAs for inclusion in vendor agreements in collaboration with business and IT partners.
  • Develops and executes an enterprise IT sourcing strategy, maintaining an expert level knowledge in how organizational IT services and contracts are sourced, delivered, and operated, including renewals, market engagement, and procurement of new capabilities.

Compensation

  • $122,139 - $162,859
  • Ensures alignment of annual vendor management priorities and plans with corporate and IT strategy and plans.
