About the role

  • Physical Requirement and Location Details This is a full-time position based in Washington, D.C., within a hybrid workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of All* Above All's federal policy and advocacy strategy to advance abortion access, affordability, and reproductive justice, in coherence with overall organizational strategy and the work of other teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with members of Congress, federal agencies, the White House, key policymakers and staff, and advocacy partners.
  • Collaborate closely with communications, campaigns, and state strategy teams to ensure coordinated advocacy, messaging, and narrative change efforts.
  • Develop policy analysis, advocacy materials, briefings, and talking points for internal and external audiences.
  • Manage consultants, vendors, or advocacy partners as needed to support federal policy and legislative goals.
  • Fundraising Contribution This position will contribute to the organization's fundraising success by supporting a culture of philanthropy, engaging donors and partners as appropriate to the role, and identifying opportunities to advance resource development.
  • Contribute to fundraising efforts by aligning programmatic and policy strategies with resource development priorities, engaging external partners and stakeholders, and collaborating with leadership to identify and advance funding opportunities.
  • Demonstrated success in coalition-building and leading multi-stakeholder campaigns at the national level.
  • Deep understanding of the federal legislative and appropriations processes, including experience engaging with Congress, federal agencies, and coalition partners.
  • Views culture shift, organizing, and movement building as key components of issue campaigns.

Requirements

  • Individuals should expect up to 50% travel, including the ability to navigate airports, conference venues, and meeting spaces.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • advanced degree in public policy, public administration, law, political science, or related field preferred.
