About the role
- Raytheon Supply Chain is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our collaborative procurement team.
- In this role, you will oversee the full procurement process, from sourcing vendors to managing purchase orders and resolving post-payment activities.
- Provide input for the development and improvement of procurement strategies, department procedures and supply chain processes.
Responsibilities
- Secure Non-Disclosure or Proprietary Information Agreement (PIA) as necessary prior to release of drawings or controlled documents.
- Prepare and issue Requests for Quotations (RFQ), validate quotation compliance, and perform price and delivery comparisons to select the optimal source in line with company policies.
- Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring compliance with contractual and quality terms and conditions.
- Proactively monitor and manage purchase orders to ensure timely delivery, addressing any potential delays, service issues or financial impacts.
- Maintain accurate electronic records, generate weekly reports to track progress, and monitor metrics.
- Actively participate in department and operational meetings, coordinate and communicate vendor issues and support reporting activities to demonstrate compliance.
- Drive and maintain strong data discipline
- Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities and manage a high volume of work efficiently.
- Ability to multi-task and perform effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, changing environment.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced Degree in a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience in Government procurement
- Familiarity with US Government Acquisition regulations and their impact on vendors, internal and external processes.
- Experience with SAP/PRISM or similar systems is an asset.
- Strong understanding of the Supply Chain lifecycle and roles/responsibilities at different project stages.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies effectively.

Compensation
- The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD.
- The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
- Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
- Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
