About the role

Summary Under the supervision of the Director of Radiology, oversees the daily operations of the Radiology Department, while ensuring optimal patient care.
Ensures the overall effectiveness of human and capital assets across multi-department service locations.

Collaborates closely with other departments to develop interdisciplinary relationships to foster effective planning and teamwork to develop an integration of services to promote and grow patient care initiatives
Uses and maintains technology systems that are needed to perform all duties.
Maintains current knowledge of and assures compliance with regulatory and accrediting agency standards and requirements
Performs other duties as assigned.

3 years of supervisory experience required
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to do repetitive motion, hear, perform activities that require fine motor skills, and speak.

Under the supervision of the Director of Radiology, oversees the daily operations of the Radiology Department, while ensuring optimal patient care.
Oversees the operations and makes corrective actions to ensure expected target results are achieved.
Carefully monitors exam capacity & utilization.
Acts as a department subject matter field expert and liaison to various clients by following closely industry imaging protocol trends and changes in technology trends.
Makes recommendations to the Director for imaging growth opportunities based on relevant research.
Makes responsible recommendations for capital equipment acquisitions.
Certification, Registration & Licensure
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or other credentialing agency (RDMS, CNMT)

Ensures that self and all team members' annual performance appraisals are completed on time.
