Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders to understand communications needs and recommend practical messaging and channel approaches.
  • Develop and execute internal communications plans that support business priorities and reinforce Magna Electronics' business and technical activities.
  • Maintain consistent messaging across materials, regions, and functions.
  • Create internal communications that support employee understanding, alignment, and engagement across global teams.
  • Support group leadership communications, including key messages, presentations, talking points, and employee updates.
  • Partner with leadership, HR, and corporate communications on change communications that help employees understand business direction and impact.
  • Coordinate with digital and regional internal communications teams to deliver cohesive messaging across channels.
  • Manage the development of communications assets, including written content, presentations, videos, and employee materials.
  • Support internal events including leadership and employee webcasts and forums with aligned messaging and materials.
  • The Manager, Magna Electronics Communications, will support the development and execution of communications plans that clearly share the business's priorities, initiatives, and innovation story - strengthening employee understanding, alignment, and engagement across the organization.

Requirements

  • Candidates must have current and ongoing authorization to work in the United States.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate communications, preferably within a global, B2B, manufacturing, or automotive environment.
