About the role

Job Description: We're seeking a skilled Extrusion Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team.
In this role, you'll be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining extrusion equipment in alignment with our quality, safety, and production standards.

Inspect finished products to ensure they meet customer and internal quality standards. Document all findings and take corrective action when necessary.
Perform basic maintenance and cleaning tasks to maintain machine efficiency and workplace safety (5S practices). Support general upkeep of the production area.
Support the team with additional tasks, including training new employees and assisting with process improvements.

Accurately record production data and follow all required documentation protocols.
As a Federal Contractor, Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials Inc. is required to participate in the E-Verify Program to confirm eligibility to work in the United States.

Operate forklifts and powered hand trucks to load materials and transport finished goods
High school diploma or GED required
3-5 years of industrial experience preferred
OSHA-certified forklift operation experience (stand-up and walk-behind trucks)
Basic mechanical aptitude with experience using hand/power tools and measuring instruments (tape measure, caliper & micrometer)
Understanding of raw materials, production flow, and quality control practices
Computer proficiency, especially in M3 systems or similar ERP platforms
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety

The salary range for this position is $24.23.
Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered.
This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.

Job Description:

Machine Setup & Operation:
Set up and operate extrusion machines according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), schedules, and order specifications.
Coordinate with setup operators during teardowns and new setups.
Process Monitoring:
Continuously monitor machines, materials, and environmental conditions to detect issues and ensure smooth operation.
Make real-time adjustments as needed.
Quality Control:
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet customer and internal quality standards.
Document all findings and take corrective action when necessary.
