The Trustees' preserves, for public use and enjoyment, of exceptional scenic, historic, and ecological value in Massachusetts.

Incumbent also performs general cleaning and/or maintenance of the ranger station, trails, and parking lots.

Posting Information: Salary/Hourly Rate: $17 - $19/hour Hours per week: 28 Job Classification: Seasonal Job Type: On-site Duration: 5/1/2026 to 9/2/2026 Location: Great Barrington, MA What You'll Do: The Seasonal Ranger is a part-time position at Monument Mountain and is primarily responsible for greeting and educating visitors, enforcing parking fees and providing site-related materials.
The Ranger may also be responsible for leading occasional guided walks and programs and assisting with special events.
This position will begin in May and run through Labor Day weekend, at around 28 hours per week, Thurs-Sun.
Specifically, you'll: Staff the entrance station and greet visitors in a welcoming manner.
Assist visitors with the parking kiosk.
Answer questions about The Trustees of Reservations and the history, geology and ecology of the.
Educate visitors about The Trustees mission and encourage them to become active members.
