About the role
- Heavy Equipment Operator Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Heavy Equipment Operator to operate a variety of construction equipment, including excavators, asphalt screeds, asphalt rollers, loaders, and bulldozers. The operator will be responsible for performing excavation, grading, paving, material handling, and site preparation
- activities while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications. Responsibilities
- Operate heavy construction equipment safely and efficiently, including: Excavators Asphalt Screeds Asphalt Rollers Front-End Loaders Bulldozers Perform excavation, trenching, grading, backfilling, and earthmoving operations.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform basic preventive maintenance.
- Maintain accurate equipment operation logs and maintenance records.
- Ability to perform routine equipment maintenance.
Requirements
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and occasional night shifts as required.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience operating heavy construction equipment.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety standards and equipment operation procedures.
- Ability to sit, stand, climb, and operate heavy equipment for extended periods.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

- The operator will be responsible for performing excavation, grading, paving, material handling, and site preparation activities while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
- Operate heavy construction equipment safely and efficiently, including:
- Operate paving equipment to assist with asphalt placement and compaction.
- Grade surfaces according to project plans and specifications.
- Load, transport, and stockpile construction materials.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions, defects, or safety hazards.
- Follow site plans, grade stakes, and instructions from supervisors.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and jobsite procedures.
