About the role

We are looking for a Property Accountant to ensure accounting integrity across features that touch our clients' resident ledgers and accounting workflows.
Guide treatment of rent, concessions, deposits/refunds, subsidies/HAP, delinquencies, utilities, move-in/out, and month-end close
Establish consistent event lifecycles, terms, and concise reference guides for controllers and onsite teams

Review calculations and language - Validate prorations, allocations, adjustments, and charge/credit logic for accuracy and explainability
Lead testing and validation - Develop representative test cases, run UAT with client accountants, and confirm outputs reconcile to expectations

5+ years in multifamily property accounting or controllership at a PMC/owner-operator/REIT (ideally multifamily)
Experience working in a software / SaaS environment
Familiarity with leading multifamily systems and data handoffs
Familiarity with AI and/or automation as they relate to accounting workflows
