About the role
- The Office of Information Technology (OIT) is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join their team.
- This internship offers valuable hands-on experience within the OIT office by helping students, staff, and faculty with troubleshooting computer equipment including hardware and software issues.
- This internship will help development with the following skills: active listening & customer service, IT troubleshooting techniques, critical thinking & problem solving, interpersonal communication skills, teamwork and attention to detail.

Requirements
- The College provides seamless transfer to other colleges and universities in Indiana, as well as out of state, for a more affordable route to a Bachelor's degree.
Skills
- Hourly Rate: $15.75

- Assist students with troubleshooting computer equipment including hardware and software issues
- Work with other Ivy Tech staff to address hardware and software needs on campus issued laptops and equipment
- Set up equipment for staff use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software
- Troubleshoot incoming calls and help tickets, and work with IT Help Desk staff to devise a plan of action to help staff and students
- Create and maintain documentation as requested of supervisor
