  • You will provide assistance in all technical aspects of projects, conduct engineering research, assessments, and coordinate with private consultants and public agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Carries out tasks assigned by the Project Lead and engineering team.
  • Develops working drawings for civil design plans in AutoCAD Civil 3D (grading, drainage, utility, stormwater management and street frontage improvements) from sketches.
  • Uses engineering judgment to perform duties and knows when to ask questions, seek assistance or perform independent research.
  • Manages personal time allotted to various tasks in order to meet obligations of one or more projects, including budget, quality and schedule.
  • Can provide accurate design of grading, drainage, utilities and stormwater treatment with minimal input from engineer of record.
  • Performs civil engineering calculations, SWPPP's and other engineering reports.
  • With every project, we work to build connections and strengthen relationships.

Requirements

  • At this level, the individual is gaining experience and has the ability to take on some tasks without supervision.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent level of experience
  • 5+ years of experience in land development
  • Experience with AutoCAD required

Nice to have

  • Additional software experience a plus, e.g. Bluebeam, Agtek, Hydrology/Hydraulic Software, AutoCad Civil 3D

Compensation

  • $100k-$135k
