About the role
- As our Solar O&M Technician Level 3, you'll be the technical expert in the field, leading complex inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs, and mentoring the next generation of technicians.
- Pay: $75,000 -$95,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Create PLOTO and LOTO Switch plans for approval.
Requirements
- Be able to drive a vehicle confidently and with a high degree of safety.
- Required: Valid Colorado Journeyman Electrician license (DORA State Electrical Board).
- Education: Associate's degree in electrical engineering or a related field preferred.
- Certifications:
- OSHA 30-hour and NFPA 70e certifications.
- FAA Part 107 Certification (or proficiency operating Drones for Aerial Thermographic purposes).
Nice to have
- Associate's degree in electrical engineering or a related field preferred.
Skills
- Proficient knowledge of electrical systems, solar energy technologies, and grid-tied systems.
- Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools such as I/V Curve Tracers, Meggers, and Isolation testers.
- Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
- Leadership & Communication:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Company truck, company credit card, vehicle maintenance card, tools and equipment provided.
Compensation
- $75,000 -$95,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Company-provided Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance at one times your annual salary.
Benefits
- up to an 8% performance bonus paid out annually.
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage, the company pays 80% of health insurance premiums, plus a 401(k) with up to a 7.5% company match.
- Paid time off accrued each pay period, 120 hours per year (years 0-2), 160 hours (years 3-9), and 200 hours (10+ years), plus 11 paid holidays.
- 8 weeks of paid parental leave.
- Tuition reimbursement up to $10,000 annually for approved educational programs.
