About the role

  • As our Solar O&M Technician Level 3, you'll be the technical expert in the field, leading complex inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs, and mentoring the next generation of technicians.
  • Pay: $75,000 -$95,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Create PLOTO and LOTO Switch plans for approval.

Requirements

  • Be able to drive a vehicle confidently and with a high degree of safety.
  • Required: Valid Colorado Journeyman Electrician license (DORA State Electrical Board).
  • Education: Associate's degree in electrical engineering or a related field preferred.
  • Certifications:
  • OSHA 30-hour and NFPA 70e certifications.
  • FAA Part 107 Certification (or proficiency operating Drones for Aerial Thermographic purposes).

Nice to have

  • Associate's degree in electrical engineering or a related field preferred.

Skills

  • Proficient knowledge of electrical systems, solar energy technologies, and grid-tied systems.
  • Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools such as I/V Curve Tracers, Meggers, and Isolation testers.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
  • Leadership & Communication:
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Company truck, company credit card, vehicle maintenance card, tools and equipment provided.

Compensation

  • $75,000 -$95,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Company-provided Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance at one times your annual salary.

Benefits

  • up to an 8% performance bonus paid out annually.

  • Paid time off accrued each pay period, 120 hours per year (years 0-2), 160 hours (years 3-9), and 200 hours (10+ years), plus 11 paid holidays.

  • Tuition reimbursement up to $10,000 annually for approved educational programs.
