About the role

- Overhead Lineworkers assist in the installation, removal, inspection and repair of overhead plant and apparatus at heights not in excess of 35 feet above ground.

Requirements
- Education:
- High School Education or equivalent
- Must have 2 years of electrical or related trades experience. Prior pole climbing experience preferred.
- Licenses & Certifications:
- Working Conditions:
- Ability and willingness to perform heavy physical work indoors and outdoors in all seasons and at times for extended periods.
- Ability to stand a minimum of five to six hours on the ground - may be in a bucket on a line truck or at the top of a distribution pole.
Nice to have
- Must have 2 years of electrical or related trades experience.
- Prior pole climbing experience preferred.
- Completion of a formal Lineworker training program preferred.
- Must have demonstrated ability in overhead electric systems as evidenced by successfully passing knowledge- based exam and physical prescreening.
- Must pass EEI testing (CAST test) and successful completion of a technical and behavioral interview.
- Must have a work history that demonstrates safe work habits.
- Massachusetts License to Operate Motor Vehicles
- Valid CDL Class B Driver's License or equivalent Military license strongly preferred
