- We have a strong preference for Michigan-based candidates, as our Detroit team works in person 3 days per week; however, we consider great candidates based across the United States.
Responsibilities
- Translate complex business needs from the financial services and wealth management industry into clear product direction, working software, and actionable stories for engineering and design.
- Drive strategic thinking that aligns with company strategy, influencing leadership and the product roadmap by identifying the highest-impact opportunities for the advisor experience.
- TO DO Own the product lifecycle from ideation through launch and iteration - with a prototype-first approach: validate ideas with working prototypes, not just PRDs.
- Own the full journey for both advisors and the internal teams serving them - the workflows, handoffs, and SLAs behind every request - deciding where software, automation, and human expertise each belong.

Requirements
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire diverse teams.
- Proven track record of successfully launching 0-to-1 products and managing existing features in coordination with offered services.
- Understanding of the financial advisor ecosystem, advisory platforms, investment products, regulatory requirements, and common advisor workflows, or the ability to ramp on it quickly.
- Experience with agile development, user research, and discovery

Nice to have
- WHAT YOU HAVE 5+ years of product management experience
- experience in financial services, wealth management, or fintech is strongly preferred.
Skills
- Your understanding of financial services will be an asset; your fluency with AI as both a product surface and a personal tool is essential.

Compensation
- The US base salary for this full-time position is determined by role, level, and location.
- Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data.
