About the role

  • We provide consulting services in the areas of Strategy, Process Improvement, Change Management, Program and Project Management, Acquisition/Procurement, and Information Technology.
  • and Duties OCT currently has an opening for a Data Analyst to work with our federal client.
  • Analyze investigation and adjudication data, as well as rule test results, to identify bottlenecks in current automated systems.

Responsibilities

  • OCT Consulting is a business management and technology consulting firm that supports Federal Government clients.
  • Optimize business rules for the eVetting process (such as Tier 3 initial and preliminary investigations) to safely increase automated pass rates and reduce manual reviews, supporting Trusted Workforce 2.0 objectives.
  • Develop actionable written recommendations to modify eVetting business rules to improve efficiency without compromising security standards.
  • Perform trending analysis to identify shifts in adjudication policy and evaluate the significance of specific data fields (e.g., "Easy Label").
  • Investigate the use of advanced analytical techniques to create predictive and prescriptive insights, including predictive risk models and network analysis to visualize connections.
  • Communicate, coordinate, collaborate, and liaise with user representatives, program sponsors, mission partners, and other client elements.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Person/Citizen.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or a related field is required.

Skills

  • Demonstrated expertise in quantitative, qualitative, and Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques.
  • Familiarity with predictive risk modeling and network analysis is highly desired.

Compensation

  • $90,000- $120,000 yearly commensurate with experience, education, etc.
