Responsibilities
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and lower costs.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and product quality.
- Monitor and maintain product quality through regular inspections and testing.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with process and equipment teams to address complex problems and implement solutions.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of issues.
- Develop and enforce safety procedures and training programs for production staff.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including process changes, equipment checklist, and quality control.
- Document and communicate best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Provide training and support to production staff on new processes, equipment, and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Material Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- 1-3 years' Proven experience in production engineering or a similar role within a high tech. manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of production processes, equipment, and quality control practices.
- Proficiency in data analysis, process improvement methodologies, and production management.
- Familiarity with manufacturing software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, MES, SPC).
- Ensure all assigned production employees undergo required training and perform their job accordingly.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills
- Certification in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or project management.
- Experience in Solar cell manufacturing is a plus.
- Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies and automation.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to the production sector.
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is a plus.
- Ability to adapt to changing technologies and industry trends.
- Willingness to continuously learn and update skills.
