About the role

  • The Department of Security Studies and International Affairs in the College of Arts & Sciences seeks an adjunct (part-time) faculty member to teach Critical Thinking and Analysis at the Daytona Beach, Florida campus.
  • Critical thinking and analytic methodologies commonly used in intelligence.
  • Cognitive and perceptual biases and their effect on objective analyses, uncertainly, and the evaluation of information sources.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective instruction in accordance with course syllabus.
  • Collaborate with department faculty and staff to ensure course quality and consistency.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or higher with 18 graduate hours in the discipline they intend to teach.
