About the role
- Architect and operate S&P Global's hybrid, multi-cloud estate across Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure with 24×7 reliability, elastic scale, and optimized cost, performance, and sustainability metrics
- Engineer resilient global networks spanning cloud interconnect, data centers, campus and branch locations, modernizing WAN edge to SASE/SSE while embedding zero trust architecture for market-data and trading workloads
Responsibilities
- Lead S&P Global's Cloud & Infrastructure organization, overseeing cloud platforms, networks, observability, forward deployment engineering, enterprise architecture, and AI foundations across all global business divisions
- Industrialize foundational GenAI capabilities enterprise-wide, building scalable AI-ready data platform foundations while strengthening trust, safety, and observability for agentic AI at scale
- Drive enterprise modernization through risk-based vulnerability management, secure software supply chain practices, and cyber-resilience partnerships with the CISO organization
- Deliver enterprise-wide commitments for cost, quality, performance, and availability through disciplined portfolio management while aligning architecture with M&A execution to accelerate integration and business value

Requirements
- 15+ years of technology leadership experience with minimum 5 years leading global cloud and infrastructure organizations of comparable scale and complexity
- Deep operating experience in highly regulated industries such as financial services, capital markets, ratings, or data analytics with regulatory compliance expertise
- Basic Required Qualifications:
Nice to have
- Hands-on familiarity with platform engineering, CI/CD platforms (such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps), and observability solutions (like Prometheus, Grafana, or DataDog) at enterprise scale
- Exposure to regulated data infrastructure requirements including SEC, ESMA, FCA, and DORA compliance frameworks with demonstrated ability to navigate complex regulatory environments

Compensation
- S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $220,000 to $350,000.
- Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
