About the role

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and recording shipments of raw materials and products.
  • This role is crucial in ensuring that all incoming goods meet quality standards and are accurately documented in our inventory system.
  • Duties/Responsibilities: - Receive and unload incoming shipments of raw materials and products.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately document all received items in the inventory management system. Maintain up-to-date records of all incoming shipments and related paperwork.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures related to receiving and inventory management. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
  • Required Skills/Abilities:

Nice to have

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Additional coursework or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehousing or distribution center role, preferably in a receiving position.

Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and inspection.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word).
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy items and stand for extended periods.
