About the role
- The Nurse Manager, Patient Care Services Atrium West at SJM Chelsea serves as a member of the Ministry Organization's nursing leadership team.
- Responsible for day-to-day operations, scheduling, staffing and providing 24/7 accountability for patient care delivery, planning, and evaluation of services of one or more clinical areas.
- Joseph Mercy Chelsea is a 133-bed, not-for-profit hospital established in 1970 leading the way in patient safety in satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Participates in SJM Hospital's decision-making workgroups to implement improvement changes within the organization.
- They participate in and supports strategic development and outcomes management of nursing clinical areas.
Requirements
- What the Nurse Manager will need: State of Michigan Registered Nursing license required Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree required.
- Knowledge of professional nursing practice in a clinical specialty evidenced through professional practice/administrative certification.
- State of Michigan Registered Nursing license required Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree required.
Nice to have
- Certification preferred within 24 months of hire.
- Member of a professional nursing organization preferred.
