About the role

  • Working independently and exercising good judgement and discretion, the Project Coordinator will plan, coordinate, and execute projects, events, and marketing strategy for the College of Applied Studies & Academic Success (CASAS).
  • This role is also responsible for budget, analytics, and reporting.
  • This position is a full-time, twelve-month, staff position in CASAS.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee staff and student volunteers. Provide support, feedback, and training as needed.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with internal and external departments and vendors.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies that align with university and departmental goals, industry best practice, and consumer wants and needs.
  • Maintain CASAS webpages.
  • Develop and monitor reports to track and analyze the performance and effectiveness of campaigns; recommend data-informed changes and improvements as needed.
  • Budget - Process requisitions and purchase orders, ensuring compliance with institutional policies; create and maintain office documents like invoices, reports, and purchase orders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in business, marketing, communications, or a related field).
  • 1-2 years of experience in project coordination or marketing strategy, with a proven track record of coordinating complex projects.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to convey clear, well-articulated information.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team member and cultivate positive working relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to understand, speak, and write English in order to convey messages and correspond in an articulate and professional manner.
  • Regularly required to sit to perform deskwork or type on a keyboard.
  • Regularly required to hear and speak in order to effectively communicate orally.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and climb stairs to move about the campus.
  • To obtain LU-approved driver certification, individuals must be 21 years of age or older, possess a valid driver's license with a minimum of five (5) years of documented driving history, and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Possess public communication skills that allow professional representation of Liberty University.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, independently manage multiple tasks and projects with competing priorities and deadlines, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Intuitively able to reason, analyze information and events, and apply judgment in order to solve problems of both a routine and complex nature.

Compensation

  • Market benchmarks may be used, as appropriate, in combination with internal equity to ensure pay is fair and aligned with the broader compensation structure.
  • Compensation is determined based on factors such as qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, along with University needs and external market conditions.
  • $44,000.00 - $50,000.00
