This role requires a good understanding of power management, including magnetics, control loop theory, and component selection.

Work with senior applications, design and test engineers to validate new digital multiphase controllers and Smart Power Stages to evaluate system-level performance.
Behavioral modeling of DC-DC converters, including IC blocks, using SIMPLIS and/or MATLAB to support the design engineering team with new control architectures.
Develop EVBs, including responsibility for component selection, layout, and thermal design
Develop collateral such as datasheets, performance reports, and application notes to support customer engagement.

A New College Graduate (NCG) with an MS or a Ph.D. preferably with a thesis/dissertation focused on power management/power electronics is required.
A broad comprehension of DC/DC power conversion is required, including familiarity with digital multiphase PWM controllers.
Experience with DC/DC converters with a good understanding of multiphase buck converters is a must.
Proficiency in using lab equipment, including network analyzers, oscilloscopes and waveform generators.
Experience with automation of lab testing.
