About the role
- n Logic is hiring a Model Based Systems Engineer to join our team in Huntsville, AL.
- The selected candidate will work within a Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) product line under an Architecture & Delivery Integrated Product Team.
- This environment is fast‑paced, collaborative, and includes team members with a wide range of experience levels.
Responsibilities
- You'll develop systems engineering products that enable the design and evolution of a large‑scale, ground‑based defensive capability used to help protect the United States.
Requirements
- An active, in-scope Secret Security Clearance is required for this position
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, with progressively responsible experience in systems engineering (typically 5+ years at mid‑level to 8+ years at senior level)
- Hands‑on experience with requirements decomposition, requirements management, and traceability (e.g., DOORS)
- Experience supporting requirement verification through test, analysis, inspection, or demonstration
- Current SECRET security clearance is required for consideration.
Nice to have
- Experience with requirement verification methods such as test execution or analysis
- Familiarity with complex ground-based defense systems
- Demonstrated ability in independent planning, organization, and working across functional teams
- Understanding of the Systems Engineering V‑Model
- Exposure to MBSE tools and practices
- Experience with Agile development approaches
- INCOSE or Systems Engineering certification.
