About the role
- Utilize DevSecOps, microservices, and containerization tool suites.
Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise for back-end design and development efforts.
- Develop back-end architectures to support current and new system capabilities and integrations.
- Design and modify RESTful APIs, manage databases, and develop/optimize data models.
- Perform engineering tasks including analysis, planning, and developing functional documents and architectures.
Requirements
- Active Secret clearance required.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Master's degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.
- 10 years of software development experience in object-oriented and scripted languages.
- 5 years of experience in back-end web design and development.
- 10 years of experience in relational databases, RESTful API development, and integration.
- 5 years of experience with Python, PostgreSQL, and bug tracking software (e.g., Jira).
- 3 years of experience with AWS Infrastructure, Kubernetes, and RedHat Linux.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.
Compensation
- Competitive salary range of $125,000 - $150,000 per year.
