About the role
- The Mechanic is responsible for the installation and rebuilding machinery and miscellaneous equipment and parts.
- Repairs may include rebuilding/replacement of machinery, gearboxes, bearings; fabrication to include cutting/welding of metal plates for chutes, structures, etc.

Requirements
- The Maintenance Mechanic will perform all necessary repairs and/or modifications to plant machinery or equipment as required to maintain optimum availability.
Nice to have
- Follow all Safety procedures while performing duties to include but not limited to LOTO, wearing appropriate PPE for assigned duties
Skills
- Must be able to effectively communicate both orally or written
- Must be able to work shifts as per schedule
- Must be able to work in hot and cold weather conditions.
- Must be able to climb ladders and work in high places.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted
- Will be required to wear all necessary PPE
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Two years experience in industrial maintenance and repairs preferred
- Frequent walking, standing, and sitting with exposure to all seasonal climatic conditions.
- Occasionally lifting, carrying, and/or pulling objects up to 50 lbs.
- Approximately 100% plant environment.
