Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing administration of compensation programs, including base pay structures, short- and long-term incentive plans, and job leveling frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain job descriptions, job codes, and FLSA classifications in partnership with HR business partners and legal.
  • Manage and mentor compensation analysts, overseeing workflow, project timelines, and quality of deliverables.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive compensation experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation principles, job evaluation methodologies, and market pricing practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and advise senior leaders.
  • Rare or occasional travel may be required to attend business meetings, training programs, or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or all of the daily responsibilities of this position.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of federal and state wage and hour laws, pay equity regulations, and FLSA classification standards.
  • Ability to build and manage strong stakeholder relationships across HR, Finance, and business leadership.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field required
  • Master's degree preferred.

Skills

  • Advanced Excel modeling skills and experience with compensation survey and benchmarking tools (e.g., WTW, Mercer, Radford).
  • Experience with HRIS and compensation management platforms (e.g., Workday, Workday Advanced Compensation, Payscale, PayFactors).
  • Experience designing incentive, bonus, or sales compensation programs, preferred.
  • No special physical demands are required.

  • The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000 USD Annually.

Compensation

  • Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.
  • Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
  • Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
  • 401(k) with Company Match up to 6% of pay after 6 months of service.
  • Paid Parental Leave and lifetime Fertility Benefit reimbursement up to $10,000 (includes adoption or surrogacy).
  • Manage annual compensation cycles, including merit increases, promotions, and bonus calculations.
