About the role

  • We are seeking a Jira Admin/Engineer to join our team at Fiserv.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, configure, and support Jira and Confluence Data Center environments, including projects, workflows, permissions, screens, fields, dashboards, reports, and integrations.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements, design scalable solutions, and implement process improvements across the Atlassian platform.
  • Own, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues using effective collaboration, troubleshooting best practices, and transparent communication with stakeholders.
  • Replicate issues and validate product-related defects while coordinating with internal and external support teams as needed.
  • Support Jira and Confluence upgrades, migrations, integrations, and ongoing maintenance activities.
  • Develop and maintain automation solutions, self-service capabilities, knowledge articles, and operational documentation to improve efficiency and user experience.
  • Drive technical collaboration and engagement with internal teams, vendors, and strategic partners. Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge to strengthen team capabilities and troubleshooting expertise.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining high levels of service and responsiveness. Experience mentoring support engineers and helping develop technical troubleshooting skills.

Requirements

  • Perform error diagnosis, debugging, validation, root cause analysis, and code reviews when required to identify and resolve platform-related issues.
  • 5+ years of experience in Technical Support, Software Services, Systems Administration, or a related technical role supporting large end-user communities.
  • Strong understanding of Jira workflows, permissions, schemes, automation, reporting, and system administration best practices.
  • Experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, Clarity, and related monitoring or project management platforms.
  • Experience with scripting, automation, API integrations, or Atlassian marketplace applications.

Compensation

  • $100,000.00 - $165,600.00
  • These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
  • For incentive eligible associates, the successful candidate is eligible for an annual incentive opportunity which may be delivered as a mix of cash bonus and equity awards in the Company's sole discretion.
