About the role
- This position plays a key role in achieving inventory, production, quality, and cost objectives while maintaining compliance with company policies, ISO standards, Lean Manufacturing principles, and 5S practices.
- Coordinate planning for materials department Coordination for processing materials to POU location by requirement date.
- Responsible for inventory accuracy and achieving inventory goals.
Responsibilities
- The Materials Planner is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the flow of materials to support manufacturing operations while ensuring production schedules are met.
- Drive the reduction of inventory adjustments.
- Drive continuous improvement in the supply base in support of business objectives.

Requirements
- Work with capacity planning to find under/over loads to determine if outsourcing or level loading is required
Nice to have
- Attend and participate in departmental tool box meetings.
- Ensure the accuracy of data entered in the system.
- Promote and facilitate lean manufacturing / 5's programs for materials.
- Assist and participate in cross training Ensure compliance to ISO Procedures, work instructions, 5P's and promote continuous improvement within the department.
