About the role

This position plays a key role in achieving inventory, production, quality, and cost objectives while maintaining compliance with company policies, ISO standards, Lean Manufacturing principles, and 5S practices.
Coordinate planning for materials department Coordination for processing materials to POU location by requirement date.
Responsible for inventory accuracy and achieving inventory goals.

The Materials Planner is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the flow of materials to support manufacturing operations while ensuring production schedules are met.
Drive the reduction of inventory adjustments.
Drive continuous improvement in the supply base in support of business objectives.

Work with capacity planning to find under/over loads to determine if outsourcing or level loading is required

Attend and participate in departmental tool box meetings.
Ensure the accuracy of data entered in the system.
Promote and facilitate lean manufacturing / 5's programs for materials.
Assist and participate in cross training Ensure compliance to ISO Procedures, work instructions, 5P's and promote continuous improvement within the department.
