About the role

  • We're seeking ambitious individuals to join our team as an Assembly Operator at nVent Management Company.

  • In the role of Assembly Operator, you will assemble a variety of electrical fastening products and components using hands, machinery, or hand tools.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain equipment and materials necessary to complete the operation.
  • Record accurate information on Manufacturing Order and perform transactions necessary to maintain accurate records and inventory balances.
  • Adhere to department 5S standards daily. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • We design, manufacture, market, install and service high performance products and solutions that connect and protect some of the world's most sensitive equipment, buildings and critical processes.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in using tools and equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand instructions in manuals and blueprints.
  • Our robust portfolio of leading electrical product brands dates back more than 100 years and includes nVent CADDY, ERICO, HOFFMAN, ILSCO, SCHROFF and TRACHTE.
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Compensation

  • $14.80 - $27.50 Per Hour
  • Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
  • nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location.
  • Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance.
  • Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
