  • The Office Manager is responsible for the practical coordination behind the workplace experience, ensuring office spaces, services, vendors, and day-to-day facility needs are managed with care and consistency.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operation, maintenance, and upkeep of Tricon Homes' corporate office units within a business condominium building, ensuring spaces are clean, safe, functional, professional, and maintained to Tricon's standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for facility-related vendors, contractors, caterers, cleaning providers, specialty appliance providers, building representatives, and other office service partners.
  • Partner with internal departments on office improvements, renovations, relocations, workstation changes, and other workplace-related projects.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and visitors on facility-related matters.
  • Plan and coordinate preventative maintenance, repairs, upgrades, lifecycle requirements, and recurring maintenance schedules for office spaces, building systems, equipment, furniture, fixtures, HVAC, and specialty appliances.
  • The Office Manager creates and maintains a corporate office environment that is organized, professional, reliable, and ready to support the people who work in it each day.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in facilities management, office operations, building operations, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting office moves, space planning, workplace setup, storage, and facility improvement projects.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities, time-sensitive requests, and ongoing operational needs in a busy office environment.
  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, including:
  • Frequently required to sit, talk, and hear.
  • Liaise with the art curator and coordinate the handling, shipment, placement, and care of artwork and other valuables as required.
  • Experience overseeing day-to-day facility operations within a corporate office, commercial building, or similar workplace environment.
  • Working knowledge of building systems, maintenance planning, HVAC coordination, workplace services, and facility upkeep.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating vendors, contractors, service agreements, and facility-related budgets.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
  • Service-oriented, caring, and thoughtful approach with sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with employees, visitors, vendors, and internal stakeholders while helping make employees' day-to-day experience easier and well supported.
  • Minimum Requirements:
  • Experience working within a condominium, multi-unit office building, or shared commercial building environment.
  • Project management experience related to renovations, office moves, facility upgrades, or workplace improvements.
  • Familiarity with workplace health and safety practices, office compliance requirements, and emergency procedures.

Compensation

  • Placement within this compensation range will be determined by the candidate's knowledge, experience and skills.
  • $74,380.00 - $123,960.00
