About the role

  • Our company is a national packaging supply and supply-chain solutions company with an expansive distribution network.

Responsibilities

  • Purchasing Manage purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner from creation through delivery.
  • Collaborate with Senior Specialists and Managers to identify areas for price, cost, and process improvement.
  • Maintain vendor price lists, data files, and system information.
  • Planning Review warehouse inventory reports, customer demand, usage trends, lead times, and run-out dates to support timely replenishment decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with the Customer Experience team to adjust planning based on changes in customer demand or supply constraints.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Have empathy and seek to understand others' perspectives to build strong relationships.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • This position requires strong follow-through, clear communication, and the ability to work cross-functionally with Customer Experience, Logistics, Finance, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Must-Haves: Bachelor's degree or 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Prior experience with managing item pricing.
