- Job Description Summary Join GE Precision Healthcare LLC as an Inter/Co-op Advanced Manufacturing Engineer.
- In this role, you will contribute to the development and implementation of innovative manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness for our cutting-edge healthcare products.
- This co-op position offers hands-on experience in a dynamic, high-tech environment.
Nice to have
- Conduct process capability studies, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement in manufacturing yields and quality.
- Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities related to manufacturing issues.
- Contribute to the creation and revision of manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process specifications.
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of new manufacturing technologies and materials.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong academic record.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as machining, assembly, welding, or additive manufacturing.
- Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping) is a plus.
