Based in Lake Forest, California, we're driving clean energy forward by helping our partners meet ambitious net-zero targets with safe, reliable, and sustainable solutions.
This position works closely with the engineering team to support the full design lifecycle, from detailed design development and component selection through drawing release and change management.
Reporting to the VP of Engineering, this role serves as an essential link between design and production in a growth-stage manufacturing and engineering environment.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Work with the design engineers to develop the detailed design of integrated systems to meet customer expectations.
Create production drawings to ASME and automotive standards and follow the documented release procedures for issuing the drawings to production/procurement.
Support component selection, specification generation, sourcing, and vendor communication.
Perform changes to existing drawings.
Generate and maintain engineering Bill of Materials for development projects.
Adopt and implement Quantum's Quality Assurance Procedures-QAP and Departmental Work Instructions-DWI.

$70,000.00 - $125,000.00/year Quantum Fuel Systems is engineering the future of alternative fuel solutions.
