About the role
- Timmons Group is currently seeking a Telecommunications Field Technician to join our Telecommunications & MRE group located in Harrisonburg, VA.
- The Telecommunications Field Technician will work with leading electrical and telecommunication companies to inspect assets and provide analysis of infrastructure.

Responsibilities
- Manages data files daily to ensure data integrity and data security
- Maintains equipment by caring for and providing basic troubleshooting

Requirements
- Ideal candidates will have working knowledge and experience with data conversion using ArcGIS, AutoCAD or Microstation
- Must be able to assist the Technical Analysts/project manager in researching and recommending new methods, equipment, or programs to better accomplish tasks
- ability to communicate technical information, ability to research, interpret and summarize data
- Ability to lift and carry 20lbs across diverse terrain for long distances and in a variety of weather conditions
- This individual must be highly motivated, a self-starter

Compensation
- Our best estimate of the salary range for this position is $50,000-$55,000.
