About the role
- Providing customer satisfaction through on-time delivery, quality, and continuous improvement is essential.
- Customer satisfaction will be achieved through teamwork and safety.
- Starting pay is $21.50 per hour After 4 months' pay is $22.89 per hour 2nd shift Premium is 50 cents per hour.
Responsibilities
- Perform "first-piece" approval process following documented procedures.
- Support and practice "World Class" manufacturing techniques (Visual Factory, JIT, etc).
- Perform routine preventive maintenance activities.
- Develop competencies and move throughout Dixon's product lines as needed, ensuring optimal deployment of our resources.
- Support and follow BorgWarner's quality policies and practices.
- Maintain work area in orderly condition with respect to tools, equipment and personal belongings.
- Housekeeping practice. (5s Standards) Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
- Provide operator support as needed throughout Dixon's product lines, ensuring optimal deployment of our resources.
Requirements
- Ability to function and actively participate in a team-oriented environment.
- Use of required PPE
Skills
- Basic math skills (calculate and use statistical data).
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- PC literacy.
- Problem solving skills
