About the role

  • Providing customer satisfaction through on-time delivery, quality, and continuous improvement is essential.
  • Customer satisfaction will be achieved through teamwork and safety.
  • Starting pay is $21.50 per hour After 4 months' pay is $22.89 per hour 2nd shift Premium is 50 cents per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Perform "first-piece" approval process following documented procedures.
  • Support and practice "World Class" manufacturing techniques (Visual Factory, JIT, etc).
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance activities.
  • Develop competencies and move throughout Dixon's product lines as needed, ensuring optimal deployment of our resources.
  • Support and follow BorgWarner's quality policies and practices.
  • Maintain work area in orderly condition with respect to tools, equipment and personal belongings.
  • Housekeeping practice. (5s Standards) Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
  • Provide operator support as needed throughout Dixon's product lines, ensuring optimal deployment of our resources.

Requirements

  • Ability to function and actively participate in a team-oriented environment.
  • Use of required PPE

Skills

  • Basic math skills (calculate and use statistical data).
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • PC literacy.
  • Problem solving skills
