About the role
- Under the direct supervision of designated project leadership the primary responsibilities will include the following:
- Produce drawings in conformance with project time, cost and quality constraints.
- Prepare renderings and other presentation materials.

- Assist in the development of the design including planning and three-dimensional studies.
- Independently assist in the design development and documentation of interior spaces to include drawings of floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, pattern designs, elevations, details, etc.
- Identify, research and apply building and life safety codes to applicable interior design work.
- Mentor less experienced interior design staff and provide guidance in the development of project documents.
- Actively participate and promote design quality.

Requirements
- Provide support to the Senior Interior Designer with furniture, fixtures and equipment (FFE) selection, layout and specifications throughout all phases of interior design work, as required.
- May perform other duties as required.
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or relevant field required.
- Minimum of 4 years of related experience required.
- Must be able to participate the development of projects' technical or design characteristics and content.
- Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite required.
Nice to have
- Current NCIDQ certification is preferred.
Compensation
- The salary range for this position to be filled in our Chicago, IL office is $57,905 to $72,335 annually.
