Responsibilities
- Develop detailed cost plans and estimates through design and delivery phases for a multi‑building, large‑scale construction campus.
- Coordinate cost data from design teams, general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for thorough cost validation.
- Compile built cost records to support benchmarking and continuous improvement.
- Review contractor and subcontractor pricing and lead commercial negotiations to drive fair and competitive contract values.
- Lead the review, estimation, negotiation, and reconciliation of change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
- Manage post‑contract cost variances, change control processes, commitment logs, and contingency tracking.
- Support cost risk analysis, scenario planning, and cost‑impact assessments.
- Participate in contractor pricing reviews and support the client through commercial negotiations.
- Ensure timely agreement of final accounts and maintain a robust process for cost auditing and validation.
- Coordinate with general contractors, design partners, and stakeholders across a large, multi‑phase construction campus.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
- To be successful in this role, you must be confident in a client‑facing environment, able to communicate clearly, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
Nice to have
- Data center construction experience, or experience in mission‑critical, high‑tech, industrial, semiconductor, or other large‑scale technical facilities is strongly preferred.
