About the role
- This travel-based role requires flexibility and relocation.
- Superintendents typically work on projects for about two years before moving to new assignments.
- While we aim to keep projects regional, business needs may require relocation anywhere in the country.
Responsibilities
- Subcontractor Oversight: Manage subcontractors to ensure quality work on specific project scopes.
- Daily Documentation: Maintain a written daily log of job site activities.
- Quality Control: Perform quality control duties regarding the work being installed.
- Thompson Thrift uses AI-assisted tools within our applicant tracking system to support parts of the recruiting process.
Requirements
- Meet with subcontractors' foremen to review upcoming work and required manpower.
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field of study.
- Bachelor's degree and 8 years of progressive experience in construction site management.
- Associate's degree and 10 years of progressive experience in construction site management.
- GED and 12 years of progressive experience in construction site management
- Weekly Coordination: Meet with subcontractors' foremen to review upcoming work and required manpower.
- Our Ideal Candidate:
- This position requires mobility on active construction sites and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- The team member is required to work in compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
