About the role

They work closely with various teams to ensure the timely procurement and delivery of materials, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of the manufacturing process.
Furthermore, you will prepare and present reports on material planning and inventory performance to management and relevant stakeholders.

In this role, you will assist in planning and scheduling the procurement of materials to meet production requirements while utilizing ERP and MRP systems to manage inventory levels and ensure material availability for production schedules.
You will collaborate with various departments, including procurement, manufacturing, engineering, and logistics, to coordinate activities and address challenges in support of the production schedule.

Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree).
2 years of experience.
Proficiency in Excel & ERP/MRP systems for data analysis, reporting, and decision support.
The Material Planner I at Sierra Space plays a crucial role in ensuring that materials required for production are available at the right time and in the right quantity.
This entry-level position requires a blend of analytical skills, knowledge of inventory management practices, and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.

$60,773.00 - $83,561.75
Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
