About the role

  • GBM Private, IB Classic - Investment Banking Vice President, Energy Technology - Houston INVESTMENT BANKING Our division works on some of the most complex financial challenges and transactions in the market today.
  • Whether advising on a merger, providing financial solutions for an acquisition, or structuring an initial public offering, we handle projects that help clients with major milestones.
  • We work with corporations, pension funds, financial sponsors, and governments and are team of strong analytical thinkers, who have a passion for producing out-of-the-box ideas.

Responsibilities

  • Vice Presidents play an important role in developing and strengthening client relationships, leading advisory teams and structuring and executing a full range of financial transactions.
  • Create and analyze financial models, perform customized company valuation analysis, help structure transactions and support internal committee presentations and funding processes.
  • Identify disruptive technologies, emerging market leaders and new business opportunities by developing long-term perspectives on AI-driven electricity demand and the evolution of the power system.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams of tax advisors, auditors, attorneys and bankers for various transactions; lead due diligence processes and actively participate in negotiations of legal documentation.
  • Mentor analysts and associates, maintain best-in-class analytical standards and client deliverables, and foster a culture of intellectual curiosity, collaboration and innovation.
  • This role requires exceptional work ethic, intellectual curiosity and a desire to create long-term impact for clients and the firm.
  • Headquartered in New York, we maintain offices around the world.

Requirements

  • Two plus years of experience leading deal teams of analysts and associates and managing multiple workstreams across complex transactions.
