Responsibilities
- Manage account servicing activities, including endorsements, audits, cancellations, and policy changes while ensuring compliance with company standards
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal partners while supporting production and business growth objectives
- Provide guidance and direction to underwriting support staff, including reviewing work and ensuring quality and accuracy of output

Requirements

- The Associate Underwriter supports Underwriters in the evaluation, selection, and servicing of business while developing the technical expertise required for independent underwriting.

Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent insurance-related experience preferred
- Experience within wholesale insurance, including underwriting, rating, or account servicing responsibilities
- Experience expectations increase across the career path, with progression toward greater underwriting authority and independent decision-making
- Current state-specific insurance license preferred.
Skills
- Strong understanding of insurance products, underwriting principles, and risk evaluation techniques
- Ability to analyze policy structures, inspection reports, and exposure data to inform underwriting decisions
- Knowledge of rating methodologies and market placement strategies
