- Make real-time editorial decisions during breaking news and coordinate newsroom resources accordingly.
Responsibilities
- This role combines exceptional live news production with hands-on newsroom leadership, serving as the editorial and operational lead during assigned shifts.
- Supervise, coach, and support producers, writers, assignment editors, and production teams throughout the shift.
- Maintain communication with Executive Producers and newsroom leadership regarding major developing stories and editorial priorities.
- Build and manage rundowns while ensuring shows remain accurate, dynamic, and on schedule.
- Partner closely with graphic designers to create compelling visual storytelling and innovative production elements.
