About the role
- Rummel Construction, Inc. is a Heavy Civil General Contractor specializing in mass excavation and grading.
- We have been providing earth-moving services to the Southwest, United States since 1996.
- Unlike other heavy civil contractors, we diversify in a broad range of markets including mining, landfills, golf courses, residential, CMAR/JOC, wind and energy, recreation, flood control, and transportation.
Requirements
- Approximately 2-4+ years of experience in the construction industry
- Experience in earthmoving and heavy construction, including cut/fill operations across various projects
- Ability to operate or assist with off-road haul trucks and grading work
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cut/fill and mass excavation projects, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment at all times.
- This is a safety-sensitive position requiring knowledge of jobsite hazards, safety precautions, and awareness of earthmoving operations across a variety of projects.
Nice to have
- Experience operating excavators, including use of hydraulic hammer attachments preferred
